There has been a lot of speculation before about the ROI of influencer marketing, however now it seems to be the focal point of marketing in 2017.
A survey by Schlesinger Associates concluded that around 84% of marketers have at least one influencer marketing campaign planned for 2017. For brands that sell products that thrive off “what’s trendy,” influencer marketing is proving itself to be one of the best ways to reach a targeted audience.
When brands pay an influencer to use their products and write/post about them, they are paying for targeted exposure.
Today, marketers are increasing their influencer marketing efforts and using their budgets to include the tactic as a strategic piece of their overall marketing plan.
